Trudy asked me to take a few shots of her, her son Jack and also her dad Roberto who came to visit. I was excited by the idea of shooting three generations together, because that's always kind of special. What I like about home sessions is how chill they are, no pressure to do anything or look a certain way. Just enjoy the time with your loved ones. And if you can also dance in the rain, nothing is best!
Last summer we took a few picture with Rebecca and her baby boy who couldn't see the world yet. Now, I'm happy they got back in front of my camera and I could meet this curious little guy who's in a good mood almost all the time!
Family photoshoots are my favorite. For me, capturing the bond between parents and children without posing anyone differs from other sorts of photography. Especially because kids don't play any roles, they just act how they feel. And emotions around them instantly become more pure and truthful.
